Roxanne Spillet (2nd from left), President, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Rick Goings, Tupperware Brands Chairman, Kelly Clarkson, and Susan Goings join Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club members for a meet & greet prior to Ms. Clarkson’s concert to benefit “Chain of Confidence” programming in Boys & Girls Clubs.
“Chain of Confidence” is Tupperware Brands’ campaign to promote girls and women supporting each other in achieving their life goals and aspirations. Rick Going, Tupperware Chairman, is also Chairman Emeritus of Boys & Girls Club of America, so it is not surprising – and much appreciated — that Tupperware supports Chain of Confidence programming in Boys & Girls Clubs.
Kelly Clarkson, the first “American Idol”, lent her support with a benefit concert on May 25 at the “Highline Ballroom” on West 16th Street in Manhattan. We were delighted when 10 of teen members were invited to join in the pre-concert meet & greet. Thanks and kudos to Ms Clarkson and Rick and Susan Goings.
